GROWING WEIGHT

This piece was desinged and made for the company 'Brandauer' for their 150th anniversary which they created a competition to use the scraps of metal from their factories to create a piece of jewellery with the topic of Birmingham's industrial history. This shoulder piece I made is based on the 'Growing Weight' of a reputation and the responsibility it entials; gaining a layer and growing further with time and age, grasping upon your shoulder weighing you down.
