ANNALIESE FOSTER studied a Diploma in Art and Design, and is currently studying Jewellery and Silversmithing at Birmingham's School of Jewellery to learn new skills and further develop her designing abilities.
She delves into a variety of materials ranging all the way from sterling silver to leaves, creating tactile combinations in her works by utilising their properties to create something new. Taking inspiration from the natural world around her, living in the woodlands of Hampshire, and now in current projects immersing herself in harsher landscapes on her mountaineering expeditions.
Emerging as an up and coming artist Annaliese Foster has appeared in exhibitons such as 'Birmingham its people, its history' at Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery and participated in craft fairs like 'Contrasts Contemporary Jewellery Fair' in Hampshire and is now in the build up towards her Graduate Show of 2014 at the School of Jewellery in Birmingham.
